17 cop cars showed up today to evict a woman and her kids from Hairston Homes. People have been standing up to Westminster Properties, who tore down all the playground equipment, don’t let residents socialize on their front porches, and make residents pay outrageously high fines for minor items, like $45 to copy a key. Now residents who stood up to the property management are being evicted. Another leader of this growing movement is slated for eviction on Monday, March 15th.
